Who we are
This website is run by AgriGENESIS X Institute, which is currently being established as an independent nonprofit institution in the Netherlands, with activities in Ghana. Until incorporation is complete, the founder, Nadia Zeine, is responsible for this website and for any personal information it receives. You can reach us at hello@agxinstitute.org.
What we collect
This website has no contact forms, no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools, and it sets no cookies of its own.
- Emails you send us. If you write to one of our addresses, we keep your name, email address and what you tell us so we can reply and continue the conversation.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when the site is visited, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
- No third-party requests. Our typefaces and images are served from our own server. Loading this website does not send your information to Google or any other outside service.
Why we use it
We use your information to answer your messages, to discuss possible collaboration with you, and to keep the website working and secure. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in running the Institute and responding to people who contact us, or steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement with us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. It is processed only by the service providers that run the Institute's website and email: our web host, Bluehost, which is based in the United States, and our email provider. Because of this, your information can be processed outside the European Economic Area, in which case those providers rely on recognized safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for the conversation or collaboration it relates to, and then delete it unless we have to keep it for legal reasons. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Write to hello@agxinstitute.org and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
We will update this notice when the Institute completes its legal establishment, and whenever our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
